I started serious dance lessons in August of 2001, and it has been “a space odyssey.” I have taken lessons in nearly all studios in the Northern Virginia & some in Maryland area. I was extremely fortunate to find Silvia Beltran before there was an Elegant Dancing Studio. She has taught me skills many other instructors never did. She wants her students to continuously find the best and quickest ways to make progress, and her Elegant Dancing Studio home is always very welcoming. I know Silvia is the best Teacher for me! Our shared and written goals are to improve dancing skills and have much more fun. “Improving skills” will always be a work in progress. Unlike many of my past teachers who provide fundamental moves and patterns, Silvia provides advanced techniques and styling based upon her professional experience and knowledge that makes any pattern or routine, even bronze, progress toward gold quality performance. “More fun” is achieved at every lesson with Silvia and every studio-sponsored event. Every private lesson always includes laughter.
