Lynda Buechel

Instructor

Lynda is a professionally certified dance instructor currently competing around the country with her partner, Edwin Roa. She began dancing ballroom in 2012, and has been teaching since 2018.

Lynda has professional certifications from DVIDA in rhythm and smooth, and continues to study for additional exams. She furthers her education through dance camps and private coaching with many nationally recognized and well-respected coaches.

Lynda has well-rounded experience teaching various styles of ballroom dancing. She holds a special place in her heart for American Smooth, and also enjoys teaching Rhythm and Club dances.

As a natural performer, Lynda enjoys showcasing numbers with her students and professional partner. She also enjoys developing students to attain their goals of competing and taking medal exams.

Lynda started dancing at the age of seven in her hometown of Rochester, NY. She continued dancing ballet, jazz, and tap through her high school years.

Aside from her dance career, Lynda has bachelor's and master's degrees in Computer and Electrical Engineering. After working for 16 years in that industry, Lynda decided to leave the desk behind and pursue her professional dancing career full time.

Her favorite dance? A tie between Foxtrot and Quickstep!
