Belinda Adora

Instructor

Belinda has over 35 years of professional Latin and ballroom dance experience plus extensive experience in related dance fields such as folk dance, jazz, and ballet. She is a choreographer, coach and dancesport adjudicator. Belinda took gold at the 2005 Asian Games and is 10-time Undefeated National Dancesport Champion in the Philippines.

Belinda has a strong desire to give back to her community and to the dancesport world. In 2006, she formed an organization called “The Belinda Adora Ensemble”, which provides the opportunity for underprivileged street children in the Philippines to improve their lives. Belinda’s group encourages the kids to focus on dance as a way of keeping away from vices and as a tool for having a better future.

The group earned the nickname, “Belinda Adora’s Step Kids”, as a play on words connoting dance and her role as a mother figure to the children. Since then, the Belinda Adora Ensemble has won many prestigious dance competitions and some dancers have been awarded educational scholarships through their involvement with the group. Now that she lives in the U.S., Belinda continues to organize fundraisers to support the kids involvement in dance.
