Looking for a new goal for your dancing? Something fun, focused and somewhat athletic? Try competitive ballroom dancing, now called “dancesport”! Dancesport is open to all styles, all levels, and all ages! Preparing for competition is a proven way to take your dancing to the next level as you laser-focus on technique, styling, posture and pizazz! You’ll prepare for dancesport events with your private instructor on your regular private lessons. Your instructor will take you through the registration and preparation process to make it easy and fun every step of the way! You can compete as an amateur with your pro partner, or take the floor as a couple with another student.

There are hundreds of dancesport competitions around the country. There are many excellent competitions held locally each year, so we like to attend these events as a group so we can cheer for our Elegant Dancers. Some competitions include professional competitive events as well - there’s no better show in town! Several of our teachers also compete on the professional circuit.
